Meza, from Phoenix, AZ, was second on the Firestorm in goals (six) and assists (five) for the season. Against GSAC foes, the forward tallied four goals and four assists. His best match of the season was a goal and two assist effort against Life Pacific.
Head Coach
Ted Krzywiecki stated, "It is always a positive to have guys recognized for all-conference awards. Both Aiden and Edwin have had impactful moments throughout our conference schedule. Aiden has been consistent for us all year with points in 9 of 14 conference games. Edwin dealt with some bumps in mid-season but still has been able to chip in with some important goals and assists in the back half of conference play. Our group has a great team first mentality and that has no doubt contributed to Aiden and Edwin being recognized. Having three of the top seven players in goals and total points is no small feat in our conference. I am proud of all of our guys for their contributions and effort this year."
The Firestorm duo will lead the ACU men into the semifinals of the GSAC tournament and hopefully beyond. Arizona Christian will travel to Irvine, CA, to face with top seed Hope International on Saturday.
Gentlemen- Congratulations on the All-GSAC honors.
