Thoughts from Coach Rutter
"We did a nice job of taking control of the game early with a good effort defensively.  That was our fourth game in eight days against a quality opponent and our guys found a way to win against another unique style.  We emphasized a few things going into the weekend and we saw improvement in those areas which was great to see.

"Anthony Howell did a nice job on both ends of the court, and Tae (Pierre-Louis) continues to have an impact on the game when he comes in."

"We will need to improve in several areas as we hit the road against two national tournament quality teams."

Up Next
Next weekend, the Firestorm will travel out of state for the third time in as many weeks when they head to Oregon.  They will face Southern Oregon in the Oregon Tech Classic with tip-off at 4:00 pm (Arizona time).
