Glendale, AZ. – The #13 Lady Firestorm received scoring contributions from eleven different players, raced out to a twenty-eight-point lead at the half, and cruised to victory against the Warriors of Life Pacific University. In doing so, they kept their GSAC record unblemished at 5-0 heading into a big showdown with cross town rival OUAZ on Thursday evening at the Event center.
The teams 54 rebounds were the second highest total on the season.
Emily Till was joined by
Alana Washington in pulling down double figure rebounds, but like with their scoring, the team saw eleven different players contribute to the cause.
The team continues to get strong bench play from the likes of
Lauren Gunn (8 points, 4 assists),
Mae Washington (7 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists, and 3 steals), and adding to the bench play mix was sophomore post player
Shaylynn De Yager who scored 7 points on 3-4 shooting.
