ACU Falls To No. 13 OUAZ

Surprise, Ariz.- On Saturday, Arizona Christian was within three of NAIA number 13 ranked OUAZ late into the first half.  But a touchdown just before the half turned the tide in favor of the Spirit and they kept the momentum through the second half.

Austin Clark reached the end zone on the ground while Tee Johnson hauled in a long touchdown pass.

The Firestorm defense faced a season high in plays and the tackles reflected the large number of plays as Sebastian Lopez topped everyone with 14 tackles.  Lealofi Chanwong and Kellen Palm were credited with a dozen tackles.  Max McDowell also reached double digit tackles.  Jon West secured his first interception of the season.
