Glendale, Ariz.- The Frontier Conference announced the Football West Division All-Conference Teams on Thursday.
De Shawn Smith II was voted First Team West Division Special Teams to top the three all-conference selections for Firestorm football.
Ty Cole and
Damian Cabada were named Frontier Second Team West Division Offense.
Smith, out of Sacramento, CA, topped the Frontier West Division with 623 kickoff return yards while his 21.5 yards per return ranked third. The highlight of his 2025 campaign was his 95-yard kickoff return touchdown against Dakota State in week two of the season. The senior added two punt returns for 16 yards in the same game.
Cole, from Omaha, NE, was second in the West Division with 687 yards rushing and 141 rushing attempts. Eight rushing touchdowns rank third in the west division. Against Simpson on Saturday, Cole ran for a season best 123 yards with two touchdowns. The sophomore added 128 receiving yards on 17 catches.
Cabada, who calls home Eastvale, CA, started all nine of his games played as the center on the offensive line for the Firestorm.
Getting an honorable mention nod was junior tight end
Nate Pele-Tukumoeatu with 148 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
