Glendale, AZ – The Lady Firestorm withstood a fourth quarter comeback from the Lancers of Mount Marty University (SD) to end a seven-game losing streak and enter the Christmas holiday on a positive note.
Emily Till had her ninth double-double of the season with 20 points and 12 rebounds, and
Taylor Schwab shook off a scoreless first quarter and scored 19 points over the final three. The team also received strong bench contributions from multiple players including junior
Kate Carpenter who dominated the paint area with 8 rebounds and 5 blocked shots.
