Aliso Viejo, Calif.- The men's swim team earned eight silver medals, and finished second overall as a team in the inaugural GSAC Swimming Championships hosted by Soka University.
 
Isaiah Porritt earned two of the silver medals in both the 50 Freestyle and 100 Breaststroke, while Jackson Lee earned two of his own in the 200 Freestyle and 200 Butterfly.  The team also earned second place finishes in all four relays they participated in.
 
Other notable performance includes senior Kadin Van der Lingen earning a bronze medal in the 100 backstroke, and fourth place in the 200 IM.

 "We learned a lot of things at GSAC championship. #1 glorify Jesus in everything we do and say is a must, #2 team comradery always has a contagious effect on peak performance, and #3 the hunger and courage to compete is essential for any competition. Special thanks for Coach Rob Oldach and Pastor Travis for extraordinary assistance and shepherding! Multiple personal best times and placing second in men's and women's was extra special. Could not be prouder of the Arizona Christian swim team!
