Glendale, Ariz.- On Monday, the Great Southwest Athletic Conference named their players of the week and Jalik Dunkley was named the GSAC Men's Basketball Defensive Player of the Week presented by the Pickleball Space.

Dunkley, hailing from Hamilton, Ontario, topped the Firestorm with six defensive rebounds (seven total boards) and five steals in last week's win over Benedictine Mesa to close out the regular season.  The forward was also the leading scorer in the game with 20 points.

With the win, Dunkley and the Firestorm claimed a share of their fifth straight GSAC regular season championship.  ACU is riding a ten-game win streak as they are now playoff bound.  Arizona Christian, the second seed, will host third seeded Hope International on Saturday for the semifinals of the GSAC tournament.
