Strong Second Round Propels Firestorm To Fifth

Las Vegas, Nev. - A strong second round pushed Arizona Christian up to fifth as they swung into the spring portion of their schedule at the Trailblazer. The teams competed on two different courses- the TPC at Summerlin and Bear's Best- on their visit to Las Vegas.

THOUGHTS FROM COACH PARKER
"So proud of my Firestorm gals this week. They played two very difficult golf courses in Las Vegas this week at the Oklahoma City University hosted event at TPC Summerlin and Bear's Best. We finished fifth out of 12 teams and represented Arizona well. We are progressing nicely with two more events that will lead up to our GSAC conference tournament which is our primary goal this season. We had three rounds in the 70's today. If we can get four gals shooting in the 70's for conference each day we will have a good shot. On to The Master's event in California in a few weeks."

On March 17 and 18, Arizona Christian will compete in the TMU Spring Invitational hosted at the Soule Park Golf Club in Ojai, CA.
