Eleven Straight Wins Sends Arizona Christian To GSAC Championship Game

Glendale, Ariz.- On Saturday, Arizona Christian, the second seed in the GSAC Tournament, held off Hope International, the third seed, in the semifinals to advance to the GSAC Championship game.  The win ran ACU's win streak to 11 games- tying the program's best streak.

"It's always a great battle when we play Hope.  I thought we did a nice job staying poised in a real physical game.  Today's game as well as Tuesday against The Master's are great games for us heading into the national tournament."

Up Next
The Master's, the top seed in the GSAC tourney, came back against Embry-Riddle (AZ) for a 87-85 win in the other semifinal.  So the Firestorm will travel to Santa Clarita, CA, to meet up with the Mustangs on Tuesday for the GSAC Championship.  Game time is scheduled for 6:00 pm (Pacific)/7:00 pm (Arizona).
