Firestorm Women’s Wrestling to Kick Off Inaugural Season

Glendale, Ariz. - Arizona Christian University Women's Wrestling is ready to kick off their first season, following the announcement of their 2025 schedule. The Firestorm open their winter schedule as they host their Intersquad Duals on October 22 at the FRC Gym.

Shortly after, ACU will head on the road and face off against Colorado Mesa University in their Maverick Open on November 2. Two weekends later, the Firestorm will be back in town to compete in the annual Mile High Open hosted by Embry-Riddle on November 14.

The weekend after, ACU will go up north to the state of Utah and face off against Utah Tech for another tournament on November 22.

Following Thanksgiving break, the Firestorm will start off the month of December on the road as they head to Nebraska to participate in the Doane Women's Connor Open at Doane University on December 5.

After two more road duals in Las Vegas and California, ACU will return home and host their Firestorm Duals on January 16 at ACU Events Center. The following day, the Firestorm will head to the other side of town where they will compete against OUAZ in Surprise, AZ.

ACU will end their regular season by hosting the Firestorm Open on February 13 in the FRC Gym. The CCC Championships will be held on March 1 in Ashland, Oregon, with Southern Oregon as host.

Head coach Davy Miller shared some thoughts for the inaugural season. "I wanted to start by saying thank you to the Arizona Christian University administration and staff for all the help and support!" Miller said. "The team and coaching staff are so excited about the year. The preseason [matches] have been great and we are excited to get started at Colorado Mesa University on November 2nd!"
