Glendale, AZ – The evening began by celebrating senior Emily Till who over the weekend reached the singular distinction in program history of achieving 1,000 points and 1,000 rebounds.  The evening ended, familiarly, with Till leading all players in points and rebounds, and the Firestorm team defeating the La Sierra Eagles 71-43.
 
Till, who was three assists shy of a triple double, scored 20 points, pulled down 14 rebounds and also made 4 steals in producing one of her best all-around games in a season filled with them.  Fellow senior Maggie Spencer also had a strong performance falling just two points shy of her career high while connecting on fifty percent of her three-point attempts.
 
The Firestorm defense was suffocating throughout the night.  They gave up six field goals in the first quarter, but then only allowed one field goal over the next two quarters as they built their big advantage.  For the night, the Firestorm held the Eagles to just 19% shooting.
