ACU Walks Away With A Draw vs Life Pacific

Glendale, Ariz. – Arizona Christian fought to a 1-1 draw against Life Pacific, behind a first-half goal from Cadence Peroff and a strong offensive effort that saw the Firestorm outshoot the Warriors 11-7.

  • The Firestorm came out determined to establish an offensive presence, generating four shots and three corner kicks in the opening half. 
  • Their persistence paid off in the 44th minute when Peroff converted a penalty kick at the 43:43 mark, giving ACU a 1-0 advantage heading into halftime. 
  • ACU led 1-0 after the first half. 
  • Life Pacific responded early in the second half, as Stevie Spencer found the back of the net in the 56th minute off an assist from Mayllery Rodriguez to even the score at 1-1.
  • Despite surrendering the equalizer, ACU continued to apply offensive pressure throughout the remainder of the match. 
  • The Firestorm registered seven second-half shots while holding the Warriors to just two, creating opportunities in search of a go-ahead goal.
  • ACU tied with Life Pacific, 1-1.
