2016 (JR)- First Team NAIA All-American Punter (first ACU football player named All-American)… Named First Team All-CSFL Special Teams and CSFL Special Teams Player of the Year… Earned NAIA Scholar-Athlete and CSFL All-Academic Team honors… Helped the Firestorm win the Central States Football League Championship… Played in all ten games… Record 43 punts for 1,959 yards (45.6 yards per punt- first in the NAIA)… Produced a career long 74 yard punt against Langston University… Had 14 punts of 50 yards or more and 14 punts inside the 20 yard line… Amassed 3,689 kickoff yards (averaged 60.5 yards per kickoff) and 27 touchbacks… Kicked 38 extra points (38-40) and three field goals
2015 (SO)- Appeared in all nine ACU games… Helped the Firestorm win the CSFL Championship… First Team All-CSFL Special Teams…. Two time conference player of the week… CSFL All-Academic Team… Special Teams player of the year… Had 48 punts for 2,011 yards (41.9 average- 7th in the NAIA)… Nailed 17 punts inside the 20… Delivered 12 punts of 50 plus yards… Had a season long punt of 64 yards against SAGU… Accounted for 3,477 kickoff yards (58.9 yards per kick) and 15 touchbacks… Converted 41 extra points (41-47) and two field goals
2014 (FR)- Appeared in all nine ACU games… Delivered 41 punts for 1,715 yards (41.8 average- 5th in the NAIA)…. Knocked nine punts inside the 20… Produced five punts of 50 yards or more… Had a long of 62 yards against Wayland Baptist… ACU Special Teams player of the year
Whittier Christian High School- Played two years for the Heard under Coach Sergio Gradilla… As a senior, was 15-19 on field goals (8th in the nation)… Recorded 36 touchbacks… Chosen to represent the North in the 55th annual North South Orange County All-Star game… Selected as first team All-League, All-Area, All-County and All-State…. 2014 Scholar Athlete
Personal- Parents- Roger and Deanna Bush… Brother- Tyler… Favorite Bible Verse- 1 Corinthians 6:20… Chose ACU to become part of something bigger than himself, was really drawn in by the small tight fit Christian community, this would give him the opportunity to become closer to Christ… Enjoys hiking with friends and the outdoors, loves to new how to play new instruments and singing worship songs, his favorite TV shows are Flash and Arrow… Plans on playing football professionally and opening his own business… Major is business administration.
