2020-21 (SO)- Helped the Firestorm win a SAC Championship… Named All-SAC First Team Special Teams… Appeared in all 11 games… Converted 46-47 point after attempts… Connected on 7 of 11 field goal attempts… Nailed a 46 yard last second field goal at SAGU to lock up the SAC championship… Two time NAIA and five time SAC Special Teams Player of the Week

2019 (FR)- Named All-SAC First Team Special Teams… Appeared in all 10 games… Converted a perfect 26-26 point after attempts (the only perfect PAT effort in ACU history)… Nailed 10 of 14 field goals- both ACU program season records… Went 4-5 on field goal attempts (including a school record 49 yarder) with a 4-4 PAT effort at Wayland Baptist to earn NAIA and SAC Special Teams Player of the Week honors

2018- Redshirted

Paradise Valley High School- One year varsity player for Head Coach Greg David… Named Second Team All-Region… Was 20 of 21 on point after attempts and 14 of 19 on field goals… Notched ten touchbacks… Favorite highlight- Nailing a 47 yard field goal right before halftime on homecoming night… Also played soccer (two years varsity)… Earned Principal List honors

Personal- Parents- Laura Rodriguez and Nestor Higuera… Brothers- Juaquin (former ACU football player) and Fernando… Enjoys hiking, playing soccer, and watching movies… Wants to teach at his old high school… Major is secondary education with an emphasis in special education.
