    Wide Receiver Coach
Coach Allen joined the staff as the Wide Receiver Coach in July of 2025.

Prior to ACU, Coach Allen served at two other NAIA schools dating back to 2021 as the Wide Receivers coach- Ottawa University Arizona and Missouri Valley College. At both stops, he helped create top offenses in the NAIA while coaching several All-Americans and all conference performers. Along with handling interim head coaching duties at MVC, he held pass game and special team coordinator positions.

Other stops primarily working with wide receivers include two stints at College of the Siskiyous, prep work at South Plantation High School and Westminster Academy, and at his alma mater NCAA Division II Cal Poly Humboldt.

Aside from the  all-american and all-conference athletes, Coach Sergio takes pride in the nearly 100 scholar-athletes that he has worked with in his time as a coach and academic coordinator.

Prior to coaching, he played professionally in the Indoor Football League following a standout career at Cal Poly Humboldt and Redwoods Junior College.

Sergio is married to Stephanie Allen and has one daughter (Aalyiah).
