2016 (JR)- Named Second Team All-CSFL (Defense)… Helped the Firestorm win the Central States Football League Championship… Played in all ten games… Recorded 33 tackles including 28 solo tackles… Had seven tackles against both Davenport and Warner (FL)... Broke up seven passes… Grabbed two interceptions- one at SAGU and one against Wayland Baptist… Earned CSFL All-Academic Team honors

Prior to ACU- Attended Snow College and played two years for Head Coach Britt Maughan… Helped the Badgers win two conference championships and earned a number two ranking in the NJCCA polls… Caught seven balls for 80 yards and recorded 15 tackles with two pass breakups

Layton Christian Academy- Four year varsity player for Head Coach Will Hawes… Helped the Eagles reach the quarterfinals of the playoffs… Named First Team All-State, All-Area, and All-Region… Pulled in 50 catches for about 1,500 yards and 20 touchdowns… Also rushed for over 200 yards and three touchdowns… Recorded 13 interceptions… Favorite Highlight- 244 receiving yards, one interception, and 80 punt return yards in one game… Also played basketball, soccer, and track… Named to Principal’s List all four years of school

Personal- Parents- Robert and Tiffany Sawyer… Siblings- Tawn, Jordan, Taurean, Summer, and Patrice… Wants to be a Juvenile Probation Officer… Major is criminal justice.
