2015-16 (REDSHIRT): Jameel will redshirt in his first season as a member of the Firestorm.
Prior to ACU: Jameel played his junior season at Fisher College in 2014-15. During his time in Boston he averaged 4.8 points and 2.9 rebounds while appearing in 28 contests and starting one. Fisher finished with a 21-8 record while finishing at the top of the NAIA Division-II Associate of Independent Institutions.
High School: A 2010 graduate, Jameel played at Valley Vista High School in Surprise, Arizona. As a senior he averaged 18 points, 8 rebounds, and 2 steals. As a junior he averaged 17 points and 7 rebounds en route to being named as an Arizona All-State selection. Jameel averaged 13 points and 6 rebounds during his sophomore campaign.
Personal: Born September 29, 1991, Jameel hails from Chicago, Illinois. He is the son of Loay Yousif (father) and Roubika Gonzales (mother). His father was a professional soccer player in Canada. Jameel has seven siblings Mousa Mardini (37), Zaia Yousif (25), Shamiran Warda (24), Charlotte Warda (23), Anna Yousif (10), Elizabeth Yousif (10), and Angelina Yousif (9). He is majoring in business.
