Brent Smith joined the softball staff halfway through the 2022 season. In addition to coaching, he is part of the Student Development department at ACU.
Coach Smith is no stranger to Arizona Christian as he played baseball for four years in an ACU uniform. The NAIA All-American concluded his career as the all-time hits leader for the Firestorm. The former outfielder was selected for the prestigious NAIA A.O. Duer Scholarship Award, CoSIDA Academic All-American honor, and Arizona Christian Westphal Award winner.
He graduated from Arizona Christian University in 2020 with a degree in business administration.
