Tara Chavez is entering her first season as an assistant softball coach for Arizona Christian.  Prior to ACU, she has served on the coaching staff at Ironwood High School.  Coach Chavez played two seasons at Mid-Continent University in Mayfield, KY, and two seasons at Glendale Community College.  The native of Kingman, AZ, was a four year letter winner at Kingman High School- earning All-Region honors in 2007, 2008, and 2009.  Coach Chavez earned a bachelor’s degree in sociology from Arizona State University.
