Heading into his second season as an assistant coach, Coach Cannon has started coordinating the recruiting and social media efforts of Arizona Christian Women's Volleyball.

Prior to ACU, Coach Cannon spent one season as an assistant coach for Wofford College in Spartanburg, SC. While at Wofford, Mark helped develop and train all blocking schemes for all left, right and middle attackers. He helped the Terriers go from sixth to second in blocking average in the SOCON conference.  At Wofford, he assisted the coaching staff with statistical analysis and leading practice sessions.

Cannon also spent two seasons as the assistant women’s volleyball coach at Bob Jones University in 2016 and 2017. At Bob Jones, he assisted the head coach with planning, statistical analysis, recruiting and leading practice sessions.
 
In 2016, Bob Jones finished 27-13 overall and were invited to the NCCAA National Tournament after winning the region. In his second season on staff in 2017, the Bruins finished 25-15 and again won the region. Bob Jones advanced to the final four at the NCCAA National Tournament.
 
Cannon also served as the assistant men’s basketball coach and team mentor for two seasons (2012-13) at Bob Jones. Prior to that, he spent three seasons as a student assistant volleyball coach at Clearwater Christian College while also playing on Clearwater’s men’s basketball team for three seasons.
