Santa Barbara, CA- The #10 Arizona Christian Men's Tennis team played well on Saturday defeating #16 Westmont College 8-1.

The Firestorm (16-5, 5-1 GSAC) swept doubles action over the Warriors (6-7, 2-3 GSAC). Junior Daniel Superlano and Junior Alberto Lapiedra took the number one doubles match with a little extra work in a 9-7 affair.  Junior Enzo Douillac and Sophomore Jesse Miritello won 8-2 on court two.  Senior Santiago Galeffi and Senior Marcelo Balderrama secured the doubles sweep winning 8-5 in the number three match.

In singles action, ACU took all but the number two match in the lineup.  Douillac, Balderrama, and Freshman Theo Preiswerk won in straight sets.  Superlano and Junior Scott Wheeler fought through second set losses to come back and win their matches in the third and final set.

The Firestorm will return to the court when they travel to play at the University of California Riverside on April 15.
