Thoughts from Coach Rutter

"I thought we played really hard tonight and gave a good effort.  Indiana Wesleyan came out in the second half and really attacked the paint and wore us out.   We got into some foul trouble, as a result, I left a few guys on the court a little long and that probably hurt us.  We are without a couple key pieces so our depth, which will be a strength,  was a weakness tonight."

"They put so much pressure on you in transition, and on the glass.  We had a stretch where we did not execute defensively and that allowed the game to get away from us."

"We had a very poor shooting half, part of that was how fatigued we were.  But the biggest factor was that they just played much better defense in the second half.  Rotated better, communicated more effectively,  blocked out more consistently,  and controlled the paint.  We battled and had good results defensively in the first half, but we broke down fundamentally on defense in the second half and that is on me.  We have some work to do."
