SUN CITY WEST, Ariz. - The Arizona Christian University men's golf team finished tied for second (+27) out of eight teams at the three-round Golden State Athletic Conference (GSAC) Men's Golf Championships played between April 26-28 at Briarwood Country Club.

The Firestorm were in third place as a team after round one on Monday, but made up enough ground during round two on Tuesday to lead by three strokes entering the final round. Despite a strong finish this afternoon, OUAZ gained on ACU to win the GSAC title by a one-stroke differential.

Frankie Lin (+7) and Bill Rosenthal (+7) led the way for the Firestorm, each tying for fourth overall individually.

All-Conference Selections:

Lin and teammate Wade Klein were each named to the 10-person GSAC All-Conference Men's Golf Team according to an official release from the conference office earlier today.  Both golfers have been an integral part of ACU's success this season, including the program receiving votes in the NAIA Top-25 Coaches' Poll for several weeks earlier this season.
