Glendale, Ariz.- On Saturday, the Arizona Christian Men's Volleyball team dropped a tough five set match to The Master's.

Inside the Box Score

• The first 12 points of the match resulted in a 6-6 tie
• McGee then fired off two service aces and ACU kept the lead the rest of the opening set
• Set two saw a handful of ties and lead change in the beginning
• Beck laid down a kill to push ACU ahead
• ACU held a 13-10 edge but TMU used 15-6 run to win the set
• Tied 2-2 in the third, Andrew Tigas served up an ace and the Firestorm moved to the front for good in the set
• Set four went back and forth before a Dozeman kill gave the Firestorm an 11-9 cushion
• But the Mustangs went ahead 12-11, followed by a 12-12 tie (Beck kill), and then TMU in front for good in the set
• The final set saw TMU jump out to a 7-1 lead
• However, ACU fought all the way back and forced a tie at 13-13
• TMU had match point at 14-13
• ACU countered and had match point four times- with the final time at 18-17
• Unfortunately, the Mustangs scored the last three point to close out the match
• Two service errors on match points doomed the Firestorm effort
• The 23 kills from Beck ties the ACU single match mark (McGee established that top mark earlier in the season)
• The five ACU seniors- Wesley Hunter, Dozeman, Nate Mayfield, McGee, and Kohner (l-r)- were honored before the match
