Glendale, Ariz.- An even 50 football players signed with Arizona Christian Football as announced by Head Coach Jeff Bowen on Wednesday's National Signing Day.

Coach Bowen, "We feel that this is a group that can come in and contribute.  It is exciting to see how the team will come together for the season, but I feel like we got young men that can come in and contribute to our program."

Signees by the numbers
Of the 50 Firestorm signees, 14 signed before the spring semester and are already taking classes at Arizona Christian University.  The other 36 will be coming in the fall.  Thirty of the fifty signees are currently still in high school.  Ten are transferring from a four year school with ten others coming from the two year experience.  Eleven of the 25 signed as offensive commits are receivers followed by seven lineman.  On the defensive side, 12 defensive backs make up over half of the 22 signees.  California with 18 is the top state of the eleven different states represented in the group.  Seventeen call Arizona home while Texas and Washington both have three on the list.
