Home Opening Weekend Start Of Six Straight At FRC

Glendale, Ariz.- Arizona Christian Men's Volleyball will play at home for the first time in the 2023 season when they host Saint Katherine and Menlo this weekend.  This week's matches will be the start of six start home matches in the Firestorm Recreation Center.  The match versus the Oaks will be the GSAC opener for the Firestorm men.

On Tuesday, the Firestorm (1-2) fell 3-1 at No. 2 ranked Benedictine-Mesa.  Chris Beck had 12 kills and 8 digs.

The Firestorm and the Firebirds have met four times with USK winning three of the meetings.  But ACU won their last meeting (and only match in Arizona).

The Firebirds are 2-3 on the season after falling 3-0 to Cal Lutheran on Thursday.
 
Menlo
The Oaks arrive in Arizona with an 8-0 record and ranked No. 8 in the NAIA.  On Saturday, they beat Westcliff and UC Santa Cruz in a triangular.  Edin Ibrahimavic recorded 25 combined kills.  Menlo will play at OUAZ on Friday.
