Glendale, Ariz.- Jonas Wand was recently selected as a College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District recipient.

To be nominated by their College Sports Communicator for the Academic All-American award process presented by the CSC, student athletes must have a 3.50 GPA or higher, be a sophomore or better, completed at least two full semesters at their current school, and have success on the field as a starter or key reserve to match their academic accolades.  All nominees are now considered Academic All-District before being voted on for Academic All-American selection.

Wand, from Bielefeld, Germany, has been impressive in his pursuit of a business degree.  On the court, Wand is a two-time All-GSAC performer.  He was 9-6 on the year in singles with most of his appearances in the lineup coming at number two.
