Glendale, Ariz.- The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced the 2023-24 NAIA Scholar Teams on Tuesday and Arizona Christian University was well represented with 20 teams putting in the work to earn the honor.

To earn the distinction of NAIA Scholar Team, a team must average a 3.0 team GPA for the academic year.  All individuals included on the eligibility sheet for a team must be included in the team GPA numbers.

Twenty teams for Arizona Christian topped all schools that were members of the GSAC in 2023-24 and schools that joined the GSAC in 2024-25.  Former GSAC/NAIA member Vanguard was second with 18 Scholar Teams.  The Master's and Park-Gilbert were tied with 17 teams listed.

ACU Women's Tennis surpassed all Firestorm programs in team GPA with a 3.69 and was tied for fifth best for all NAIA programs in the state of Arizona.  Beach Volleyball was right behind at 3.66. Women's Cross Country followed at 3.63. The men's leading program for ACU was Men's Cross Country with a 3.54 GPA.
