Goodyear, AZ- The men's swim team opened the 2025-26 campaign against club teams from Grand Canyon and Arizona State, as well as the meets host, OUAZ.  
 
Sophomore transfer Balazs Bansagi, racing for the first time in a Firestorm uniform took first place in the 200 freestyle, second place in the 100 butterfly, and helped both relays to second place finishes.  Junior CJ Trettel aided the cause by winning the 500 freestyle, and swimming injured, sophomore Isaiah Porritt finished fourth place in the 50 freestyle.

"Men's team swim had some great swims and dropped times in many events. Balazs and CJ both winning races, and Isaiah managing to place 4th in the 50 free Swimming with only one arm! We know what we need to work on to get even faster."
