Fultz Classic Set For The Weekend

Glendale, Ariz.- The annual Fultz Classic will return to the ACU Events Center over the weekend with four teams competing in four games over two days. The Fultz Memorial Classic honors the life and service of Tim Fultz who was an alum of the Arizona Christian Men's Basketball program.

Arizona Christian
The Firestorm, ranked number two in the NAIA, are 3-1 on the season after losing 76-75 on a shot in the last ten seconds to NAIA ranked number three Georgetown (KY) on Sunday. Ese Onakpoma topped with 23 points and 11 rebounds. Shaud Bradley added 14 points.

Series Notes
The Firestorm are 2-0 against Corban and are meeting the Warriors for the third time in the last four years. Their first meeting in 2023 came in the NAIA National Championship First Round in Glendale.

Facing off against Oregon Tech, Arizona Christian is also 2-0. Both meetings came last season- first in Klamath Falls early on and then in Glendale in the NAIA National Championship Second Round.

Corban
The Warriors will open their season and the Wayne Mendezona coaching era at Corban on Friday against Arizona Christian. In 2024-25, Corban concluded their season 15-14 and 13-9 in Cascade play.

Oregon Tech
The Hustlin' Owls are 1-0 after opening their 2025-26 season with a 75-62 win over Southern Oregon in a non-Cascade conference game. They concluded their 2024-25 campaign with a record of 23-8. OIT will face NAIA number nine ranked The Master's in the opening game of the Fultz Classic on Friday.

The Master's
Arizona Christian will not face their GSAC foe and NAIA ranked number nine The Master's this weekend. But the Mustangs are 3-1 to start the year and will play both Oregon Tech and Corban in Glendale.
