Till Chosen Third Team NAIA All-American

Glendale, Ariz.- On Monday, the NAIA announced its All-American award recipients, and after earning GSAC Player of the Year, and becoming the first basketball player in ACU history to record 1,000 points and 1,000 rebounds, senior Emily Till was awarded with Third Team All-American honors.

Till led the Lady Firestorm and the GSAC in scoring and rebounding at 19.5 ppg and 12.7 rpg.  For her career, Till was always known as an elite rebounder, but the separator in her senior campaign was her increasing her scoring output by over ten points per game while continuing to lead the team in assists as well at 2.8 apg.  In addition to her athletic acumen, Till has also earned multiple GSAC Scholar-Athlete awards as well as the prestigious Emil S. Liston Award for Academic and Athletic Excellence.  Till has also served on ACU, GSAC and NAIA leadership teams.

Said Head Coach Rusty Rogers,
"Emily had one of the best single seasons in the history of ACU women's basketball and her all-American selection is a testimony to that. She led the team in nearly every significant statistical category and was GSAC player of the year, leading the conference in scoring and rebounding. Incredible season from an incredible young lady!
