Elkhart, IN- Freshman Hannah Jyawook achieved All-American status in three different events and led the Firestorm women's swim team to a 12^th Place finish at the NAIA Swimming & Diving Championships.
 
Jyawook's performance was 16^th overall for achieved points among all competitors which places her among the upper echelon of her peers. Other strong performances included senior Abbey Lair achieving new personal bests in the 50 and 100 Freestyle, as well as Audrey Washburn doing the same in 200 Breaststroke.

"Wow our ladies placed 12th in the Nation at NAIA Nationals! Glory to God! Hannah Jyawook was a three time All American, placing 4th in 200-yard Butterfly, 5th in the 500-yard Freestyle and 6th in the 400 IM. Amazing amount of healthy competitive spirit on the team! Claire Eilers found new strength in all her events (after having her appendix out just 4 weeks ago). Claire swam Fly on both medley relays and anchored our 10th place finish in the 400 Free relay. Abbey Laire swam great races in 50, 100 and 200 Freestyle as well as 5 relays. Audrey Washburn swam Amazing 200 and 400 Individual Medley. Mia Oviedo swam 5 relays and 50 free and her specialty 100 & 200 breast. Coach Nate, coach Rob and I are so proud and grateful to coach these fun, united women of God!"
