ACU Wins One, Loses One Against Bethesda

Glendale, Ariz. –  Arizona Christian bounced back in dominant fashion after a narrow Game One loss, salvaging a split of Wednesday's doubleheader with an emphatic 18-0 victory over Bethesda. The Firestorm showcased two very different performances across the twin bill—falling just short in a late comeback attempt in the opener before erupting offensively in the second game. In game one, Berkeley Kaiser led ACU with three RBIs, while Frank Wierman struck out six over 6.1 innings in the loss. In game two, Kaiser finished with four runs scored and three RBIs, while Ivy reached base four times and drove in two. Cueva also had a strong showing with two hits and two RBIs, and Lindstrom added two hits and two RBIs. On the mound, Casey Farrell delivered a dominant start, tossing five shutout innings while allowing just two hits and striking out seven to earn his seventh win of the season. The bullpen combined to complete the shutout as ACU held Bethesda to just five hits.
