Firestorm Use Hot Three Point Shooting To Take Down Buccaneers

Box Score

Glendale, AZ. - The Arizona Christian University women's basketball team (2-1) won it's second game of the year as they stormed past Park-Gilbert (1-1) 99-81 on Thursday evening at home in the ACU Events Center.

Thoughts from Coach:

After the game, Head Coach Rusty Rogers said, "We were very fortunate to win tonight—we played one of our worst defensive games since I've been here, had serious foul trouble and committed 30 turnovers. On the good side, our depth really was the difference in the game, along with a tremendous shooting effort. This game will help us in the long run, so we are very grateful to come out on top against a very formidable, hard-working opponent!"
