Coach Hering's Perspective
"We are grateful for the opportunity to race GCU on a beautiful day at the Brophy pool! The women's team swam well with many personal best times. Flores set a new ACU team record in the 200 free 1:58.80. The women's 200 free and 200 medley relays moved up to 12th nationally. Garraux ranks sixth nationally in 100 fly 56.99 and Flores ranks ninth in 200 fly 2:10.47. Coach Rob and I are very proud of all our ladies and know more each competition what we need to hone-in on. We look forward to training at NAU high altitude and swimming against Simpson University during our "heavily body week"! Swimming for Him!"
"One of the highlights of the day was a message I got from Kataryna Kashyrina's parents in the Ukraine saying they are praying for all of us- "I wish you and your team victory in the competition. I pray for you."  Coach Hering added, "How humbled and honored we are to receive a prayer from a family is battling with war!! So blessed."
Next On The Schedule
