"Student athletes from the men's and women's team competed at an event which had more than 25 teams," Coach Bell said. "This was both team's first meet since the holiday break and an opportunity to see how the athletes are coming along in their training. It also gave us a chance to see how we stack up against our conference rival Ottawa University Arizona. The Firestorm men and women were very competitive in the sprints, jumps, hurdles and throws, with our distance runners set to join us in competition in March. The coaching staff was very proud of both teams' performances."

NEXT UP FOR THE FIRESTORM

The Firestorm men get right back after it this next week, as they will travel to Moorpark, California for the Moorpark Season Opener on Friday, February 2nd.
