Ashville, NC. - Beginning this afternoon the NAIA will host the 74^th Annual Track & Field Championship at Karl Straus Track in Ashville, NC.  Participating for the Firestorm will be two-time All-American thrower TaHaj Acoff in the Shot Put.  With two indoor All-American honors, Acoff will be looking to add an outdoor medal to his collection. He is coming off a dominant regular season and GSAC Championship in which he won every single Shot Put event of which he was entered.  His season best throw of 55' 4.75" ranks 7^th in the NAIA entering the championships.
 
The Shot Put competition will begin on Friday May 21 at 10:00am Pacific Standard Time and will have live stream available via the NAIA Network.  See below for details.
