Glendale, Ariz.- The Pacific Collegiate Swim and Dive Conference recently announced the PCSC Athletes of the Week and Arizona Christian swept the Freshmen of the Week honors.  Edgar Betancourt claimed the male honor and Hanah Angel was selected on the female side.

Betancourt, from Mexico, continues to lower his school records in the 500 freestyle and 200 butterfly.  On Saturday, he posted a time of 4:43 in the 500 free and 1:57.22 in 200 fly.  For Betancourt, it was his third PCSC Athlete of the Week selection this season.

Angel, out of Clovis, CA, lowered her time in the 50 back to 33.89 in the OUAZ hosted meet.  Saturday was the final tune-up before the PCSC Championship begins next week.  For Angel, this is her first PCSC Athlete of the Week selection.
