Galasso Named CCC Men's Wrestler of the Week

Glendale, Ariz.- On Monday afternoon, the Cascade Collegiate Conference announced the McDonald's Players of the Week, presented by Urban Edge Network. Arizona Christian's senior wrestler, Leonardo Galasso, had been named CCC Men's Wrestler of the Week.

Galasso, competing in the 174 weight class, is ranked No. 9 nationally and went undefeated in the three duals this past weekend. In ACU's dual against Southern Oregon, Galasso won 14-7 by decision over SOU's Braylin Ruchti.

The next day in their dual against Evergreen, Galasso helped the Firestorm defeat them as he won by pin over Evergreen's Andrew Campbell. Later on that day in their dual against Corban, he competed against CU's Andrew Nicacio and won 13-3 by major decision.

Great work last week to earn CCC Men's Wrestler of the Week honors this week!
