Glendale, AZ- On Tuesday, the GSAC announced the GSAC Scholar-Athletes for the winter sports and Arizona Christian was represented with 23 that made the grade.
According to the GSAC release, to qualify as a GSAC Scholar-Athlete, students must maintain a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, a sophomore academically, and have attended their institution for at least one full year. The winter sports sponsored by Arizona Christian that were eligible for GSAC Scholar-Athlete include men's and women's basketball and men's and women's swimming.
Women's Swimming topped all winter women's teams in the GSAC with ten scholar-athletes. Women's Basketball was just one behind at nine.
