Costa Mesa, CA- On Tuesday, Arizona Christian Men's Tennis team collected a 6-3 five hour win over NCAA DII Concordia Irvine.  For ACU, it was their first ever win against former GSAC foe CUI Eagles.

Starting with singles play, the Firestorm (13-3) and Eagles (5-6) split the six singles matches.  Lapiedra won in the number two singles match 6-3, 6-7, 6-4.  Superlano won 6-4, 6-2 in the number four singles match.  Junior Scott Wheeler earned a 6-4, 3-6, 6-1 victory in the number six singles match.

In doubles action, ACU swept the action to earn the team win.  Junior Enzo Douillac and Sophomore Jesse Miritello collected an 8-4 victory in doubles one play to break the 3-3 tie.  Seniors Santiago Galeffi and Marcelo Balderrama earned an 8-6 win on court three to seal the team win.  Juniors Alberto Lapiedra and Daniel Superlano finalized the score with their 8-6 win in doubles two. 

ACU continued their spring break trip with a match versus Point Loma on Wednesday.
