ACU Finishes 6-0 Road Trip With Sweep of Hawks

El Cajon, CA- Thanks to their sweep of San Diego Christian on Saturday, Arizona Christian went 6-0 on their road to California.  The Firestorm won a pitcher's duel in game one before finding plenty more offense in game two.

  • Firestorm produced six straight singles to score four runs in the third
  • Paige homered in the fifth- her fourth of the season (tying her for the team lead)
  • Stewart allowed just three base runners after the first- both hits allowed erased by double plays

"The pitchers threw very well today.  Hilary did an exceptional job on the mound only giving up two hits in seven innings.  And I was happy with how we responded in game two compared to our at bats in game one."

 

Up Next

On Wednesday, ACU will travel to Chandler to square off with Benedictine-Mesa at Chandler-Gilbert Community College.  First pitch is set for 1:00 pm.
