Comeback And Big Inning Lead To Sweep

Glendale, AZ- After falling behind 3-0, ACU Softball responded with 11 straight runs for the game one win against Embry-Riddle AZ on Saturday.  In the day cap, the Firestorm used a four run inning to move ahead and hold on for the victory.

  • A five run sixth produced the mercy rule (Cosay double scored Claire Buckley and Carli, error scored two, Paige Church RBI single plated Tianna Harris to end game)

The Firestorm will enjoy the Super Bowl before playing again on Monday as they host College of Idaho at Dream City School.Game one is set for a 12:00 pm start.
