Alexandria, La.- Finishing up a trip to the Gulf Coast area, Arizona Christian had trouble closing out innings as LSU Alexandria produced a handful of big frames that allowed the Generals to sweep the Firestorm.  Sophomore Claire Buckley went 6-8 on the day.

Inside Game One

• Buckley tripled to begin the game and San Pedro singled her home for a quick 1-0 edge
• LSUA answered with three runs in the bottom of the first
• Trailing 4-1, Roberts doubled home Buckley and Kirsten Garcia
• Headed to the fifth ACU was down 5-3, Schleisman doubled with one out to jump start a five inning
• But the Generals countered with six runs in the bottom of the frame
• Zarate drove home two before Buckley tied the score at 11-11 with an RBI single
• Unfortunately, LSUA used a double and single to deliver the walk-off blow in the seventh
• The five hits for Buckley tied an ACU single game record previously accomplished three times

• After a scoreless two and a half innings, the Generals exploded for 11 runs in the bottom of the third
• ACU scored single runs in the fourth and fifth before the mercy rule kicked in
