Glendale, Ariz.- In their GSAC opening double header, Arizona Christian dropped both games to OUAZ in walk-off fashion.  Sophomores Claire Buckley and Bibi Acosta both went 4-7 with a double and two RBI on the day.

Inside Game One

• Buckley led off the game with a walk and came home to score on an RBI single from Acosta
• Guzman scored in the second before OUAZ tied the score with two in the bottom half
• Taylor Schleisman singled to start the third and a six run rally
• Acosta and Vickman doubled in runs to help build an 8-2 lead
• OUAZ scored four in the fourth
• Guzman scored in the fifth
• Brown launched a two run home run to center for an 11-6 edge
• But OUAZ then tied the score with five in the sixth
• ACU was retired in order in the top of seventh before OUAZ scored the game winner on a wild pitch

Inside Game Two

• OUAZ scored the first four runs of the day cap
• Vickman doubled and came home on an error in the fifth
• Brown doubled to start the sixth and Garcia cashed her in with a single
• Unfortunately, the Spirit ended the game with a home run in the bottom of the sixth

The Firestorm will host the Spirit on April 10.The hope is to play the game on the new softball field being built on ACU's campus.
