Glendale, Ariz.- On Friday, Arizona Christian could not slow No. 23 William Jessup as the Warriors swept the Firestorm.  Defensively, the Firestorm were at their best in the two games making some non-routine plays look easy.

Inside Game Two

• WJU went scoreless in the first but then scored four total runs in the next third innings
• The Firestorm finally broke through in the bottom of the fourth
• Single, single, and walk loaded the bases followed by a ground out from Anderson to score Taylor Schleisman
• After another walk, Dowdy singled to center field to score Alto but the trail runner was thrown out at the plate to end the inning
• In the bottom of the sixth, ACU had the tying runs on second and third with two outs but were turned away
• WJU added a run in the seventh, but the Firestorm were on unable to answer
• Buckley and Alto lead the defense charge with great plays on the left side of the infield
• Buckley was at her best diving in the 5-6 hole and throwing out the runner from one knee while making other hard plays look easy
• Alto laid out to her left and snagged a few screaming liners at third to take away hits
