Glendale, Ariz.- On Monday, Claire Buckley was selected as the GSAC Softball Player of the Week as announced the Golden State Athletic Conference.  The shortstop hit .571 in the four games played by Arizona Christian last week.

Buckley, out of Clovis, CA, delivered a hit in every game as she finished 8 of 14 for the week.  She produced two doubles while driving in six.  Defensively, she contributed 12 assists, 6 putouts, and no errors.

Against Benedictine-Mesa in game two, the senior went 3-3 with a double and three RBI.  Game two versus Embry-Riddle saw Buckley go 3-4 at the plate with a double and two RBI.

With Buckley leading the charge, Arizona Christian is currently riding an eight win streak.
