San Diego, Calif. - The Lady Firestorm displayed heart and athleticism among some of the best colleges in California at the Arnie Robinson Invitational on Friday. Eight personal records were achieved in San Diego, including seven top-10 performances in the context of ACU Women's Track and Field history. 

Mirdege Lentz extended her lead for farthest long jump (5.29 meters) in program history, besting her previous mark by 0.09 meters and placing ninth in a field of 20. Her long jump is now leading the GSAC. The freshman also set personal records in the 100-meter dash (13.27 seconds, eighth all-time for ACU women) and 200-meter dash (27.79 seconds).

Jade Roberts had her own bout with greatness in the 400-meter hurdles, posting 1:09.21 to establish a personal record and the second-fastest time in ACU history. Her mark ranks second in the GSAC this season.

In the distance discipline, Kaesha Guillaume set personal bests in the 800 meters (2:34.16) and 1500 meters (5:12.11), her 1500 time being the ninth-fastest in program history.

The foursome of Jocelyn Odiott, Mirdege Lentz, Kourtney Bruner and Jade Roberts ran a season-best 4x100 relay of 50.75 seconds, which also ranks fourth in program history.

McKenna Rogers fell just a bit shy of her personal-best in pole vault, with a 3.40-meter clear and fourth-place finish.

"The coaching staff and I were very pleased to see how well the entire team performed at Arnie Robinson," Coach Bell said. "It was exciting to see how the confidence our athletes have in their training is translating to their performance at the track. There were too many exceptional performances to count and our relay teams are really starting to click. We will continue to build on these results as we prepare for the GSAC Track and Field Championships at the end of April."
