Moorpark, Calif. - ACU Men's Track and Field left their mark on the 2024 GSAC Track & Field Championship, earning a runner-up finish (140 points) and many individual accolades by Thursday's end. Seven athletes claimed 17 All-GSAC titles, three school records fell and two individuals won their disciplines. A total of 25 personal records were rewritten at Moorpark College.

Jase Carrasquillo was selected the GSAC Field Athlete of the Meet and GSAC Top Male Athlete of the Meet for collecting the most total points (36). The sophomore won long jump with a season-best leap of 7.06 meters that also ranks second in program history. He also took home the gold medal in 400-meter hurdles (56.79 seconds).

TaHaj Acoff was named GSAC Freshman of the Year, having scored the most total points (24) of all first-years. The Des Moines, Iowa native won the gold medal in discus throw with a program record-breaking toss of 47.11 meters. He also notched two other top-three performances in shot put (second place, second in program history) and hammer throw (third, first in program history).

In sprints, Alonzo Paul established a personal record in the 100 meter dash (10.94 seconds), good enough for third and the fifth-fastest time in ACU history. The sophomore also recorded a personal-best 200 meter dash of 22.12 seconds in the preliminary round.

Freshman Nick Valle ran the program's second-fastest 5000 meter (15:01.55) to take fourth. 

The 4x800 relay team of Brandon Ericson, Trent Janssen, Julian Salyer and Valle posted a program-record time of 8:17.96.
